A survey has been released saying almost half of New Zealand GP’s back euthanasia. John was joined in studio by Renée Joubert, executive officer of Euthanasia-Free NZ, and Dr David Richmond, now retired, previously Professor of Geriatrics The University of Auckland.
They talked about the reality of euthanasia and misunderstandings around it.

Christchurch Earthquake

This Sunday 22nd February will be the fourth anniversary of the devastating earthquake that impacted the lives on the people of Christchurch. This morning George & Andrew replayed an interview with former Pastor John Stringer, that was recorded four years ago shortly after the earthquake struck -

Di's Fav Verse

One of my favourite scriptures has always been Romans 12 verses 1 - 2.

Yesterday I fell in love with it again, reading it in the Message. I don't know about you but sometimes reading a different bible translation can, from time to time help me see God's word in a new light. Enjoy!

Place Your Life Before God
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Celia Lashlie

Much loved NZ author and social commentator Celia Lashlie has died, at the age of 61, after a short battle with cancer. In her book "He'll be OK" she talked the way in which boys are influence by their parents, the education system and particularly the men in their lives. She talked with Andrew Urquhart about what she saw as the most significant factors in raising good men.

Fifty Shades of Grey

Everybody is talking about the Fifty Shades of Grey movie which was released in cinemas this weekend.

So, on this week's Forum, our callers shared about how they feel about the film. We also heard from clinical physcologist Doctor Juli Slattery. She is an author, speaker and the co-founder of Authentic Intimacy, an international non profit designed to minister to women around topics of intimacy.

She's also written a book about Fifty Shades of Grey called Pulling Back the Shades.
