Telling a Better Story: Evangelism Today
The Gospel is unchanging, but how we share it with today's society is an important part of the picture.
Laidlaw's Director of the Evangelistic Leadership School, Rev. Dr Mark Keown, says our culture has moved from rational argument to a love of story, so Christians need to become better story-tellers. Drawing on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, Dr Keown suggests that means long-term evangelism - living in authentic relationship, listening carefully, and telling the true story of Jesus rather than arguing people into belief.
