Beyond Tempatation Pt. 1

Pastor Jeff Vines concludes his "Deliverance" series by urging listeners to wake up to the reality of spiritual warfare, sharing personal accounts from Armenia and Zimbabwe of deliverance ministry involving trafficked girls and a witch doctor's conversion. He argues that denying the existence of evil leaves Christians defenceless, and that Western culture's abandonment of Judeo-Christian values has allowed old "gods and goddesses" of sex, money and pleasure to re-enter, deceiving even believers into cavalier attitudes toward sin and truth.

Drawing on Ephesians 2 and James 1, Vines explains how Satan uses personalised temptation—like a skilled fisherman—to exploit individual weaknesses, leading people into habits and addictions that bring death and despair. He calls the church to minister with compassion rather than judgment, both to those entangled through their own choices and those victimised by circumstances beyond their control, emphasising that the name of Jesus still sets captives free.
