PILLAR's Arian Tashakkori said Parliamentary heckling reflects a broader culture of outrage in national politics and public discourse, likewise condemning the mock beheading of Peters in effigy. He compares the New Zealand First leader's knee-jerk retort, and the legal yet destructive and premeditated protest effigy, calling for better standards of behaviour amongst our leaders as well as citizenry.
