Tongan Christian Radio's Growing Legacy with Willie

Andrew and Becci welcome Willy from Tongan Christian Radio (TCR), tracing its roots back to 1988 when the late King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV was inspired by Radio Rhema during a visit to NZ, leading to TCR's first broadcast in 1993. Willy shares how the station has grown beyond broadcasting into weekly discipleship groups across villages, with many finding faith through radio outreach and growing in community.

Willie also discusses raising up a new generation of young leaders, some of whom visited NZ to see Radio Rhema and Life FM firsthand, now using their voices to share their faith both in Tonga and in NZ. He reflects on Tonga's Christian culture, noting a shift from tradition towards genuine relationship with God, and invites listeners with family in Tonga to tune into 93.1FM or visit tcrfm.org.
